I don't equate grand intelligence necessarily with a view that the earth is old. I believe the earth is old, but so what? They have their reasons why they subscribe to a young earth, and it is anchored in a calendar view of the Book of Genesis, not imbecility. A.E. Wildersmith, who had three earned doctorates from prestigious Europeon universities ( one in chemistry and two in pharmacology), was a young-earther. He could tie Darwinists in knots with his outstanding knowledge of chemistry alone. He also spoke seven languages fluently by the way. Could you get yourself three earned doctorates and learn six other languages besides your own?
