Should i be this insecure based on my husbands recent comments actions?

I need to fix the transmission in my car Its a 2001 with 108,000 miles The transmission is 1500. I dont really want to put that kinda money becuz my car is so old. I dont have the money to fix it right now unless I borrow from my retirement account in 4 yrs Ive made 8,000 dollars and im aloud to borrow half. Well last wk my husband got a preapproval letter from capital one for a car. He just bought a car so he says he doesnt want us to owe to much. The interest rate is good. Since my credit is bad this is the only opportunity for me to upgrade to a newer car 2008 or 09 Anyway at first he was for it then he was like borrow against the retirement and really pressuring about how my car is going to break soon. Im happy driving my car 25 or 30 miles and hr across the street to work and my kids school. All on same block. And save for transmission Well we had an issue where my husband was really mean verbally a few wks ago. He apologized and hasnt called me names for 2 wks. Tonight in the car on the way home we started to argue and he said thats one of the reasons I want to divorce your fat ***. So i was like thanks for the update didnt know u wanted a divorce. Is this why he doesnt want to get the car loan for me he's not thinking long term If the shoe was on the other foot I would do it in a heartbeat to better him. He also knows that im generous and after I pay the 1500 on car i have no problem spending some of the loan money on him. He knows this blow over and he'll be bk to being nice and joking with me tmaro. Im really uncomfortable taking out of the only savings i had I mean if I made 8,000 starting with zero four yrs ago I stand to make lots more in the next 4 yrs starting with 8,000. And weighing my husbands mean words and not wanting to get a car loan with me Makes me question if he's down for me and for the longterm. And the pressure from him your car is gonna break get the loan get the loan. Is hard to deal with Yes it could break but it could also last awhile
