ok I'll try to make this as short and to the point as possible. first off, no one really likes a person who makes such a big deal of things. That's one thing you should change. I'm not trying to be mean but you should know. Also you should do both things you suggested. Apologize sincerely and then give him some space. Sometimes I get really annoyed with a friend and getting space really helps get rid of all that tension. You said he likes you so when he's ready for you guys to start talking again he should contact you. I would recommend waiting until he starts talking to you again but you could also start talking to him again after giving him some time to sort things out in his life. Also maybe he feel he's under too much pressure or sumthing. ik that when I'm busy and stuff, I'm easily annoyed cuz I feel like it's just too much. He is busy so he just needs some space so he can breathe and settle things down. I think everything will go great with you two, you just need to wait. A relationship can work out but you'll need to wait a bit. I wish you the best of luck :)
