I'm on police bail and not given a specific date to report back but was told I should get a letter within 6 wk?

When I got to the police station,was told my finger prints do not match the suspect and someone must be using my details,I was bailed to return in 6 weeks but not a specific date was given,however was told I might get a letter to say that I'm not needed again...it's the 5th week and not heard anything yet from the police,what do i do?
